Every year Rebrand selects 100 brands from around the world that are rebranded successfully and awards them a Rebrand 100. This year one of the design firms from Thailand, Midnite Oil, won a Merit award for Zsiska rebranding.
Rebrand is a global resource dedicated to brand transformation. Each year rebranding works from more than 20 countries are submitted to Rebrand 100 Global Design Awards. The entries range from worldwide brands such as Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble and Unilever to non-profit organizations and local brands.
The assessment criteria for Rebrand 100 award winners are as follows: - Clear transformation for the better in meeting strategic objectives.
- Solution exceeded expectations and/or incorporated an element of surprise.
- The rebrand spurred an emotional connection for the target audience.
- The rebrand was intelligently executed with evidence that it could be implemented across the organization, or a specific unit of the brand.
Zsiska, the Dutch design handmade jewellery brand, was rebranded from Zahara by Midnite Oil. The design firm was selected to transform Zahara to Zsiska from scratch including logo, naming, retail shop, packaging, website, advertising and collateral design works.
